Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tbsp Oil
  • ½ Tsp Ginger grated or paste
  • 1-2 Fresh Green Chillies optional
  • ¼ Tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 250 Gm Potato boiled and mashed
  • Grated cheese Processed Cheddar Cheese
  • 8 Bread Slices
  • Butter optional

Method
 

  1. Heat the oil and add grated ginger, chopped green chillies, and red chilli powder. Saute for 30 seconds and add the boiled potatoes. Mix well for 2-3 minutes and remove from heat.
  2. Grated the cheese blocks.
  3. Cut the sides of the bread. Spread a thin film of soft butter on all the slices. Layer a generous portion of potato mix on 4 bread slices.
  4. Create a thick topping of grated cheese on the potato mix.
  5. Now place the remaining bread slices on the potato-cheese layered bread pieces.
  6. Toast the sandwiches on a sandwich maker. Alternatively, you may do it on the tawa or a grill pan.
  7. Serve with tomato ketchup or any preferred dip.
  8. That’s all! You are ready to experience a savoury breakfast in minutes.
